Glock G27 40 S&W 3.43" Black Nitride Pistol - 9+1 Rounds - Comfortable dimensions and the proven benefits of the Glock family of pistols make the G27 popular with police on and off the job. I have a sig P 938 9mm the trigger pull is just horrible and I personally am not very accurate with it.I also have 2 sig p 238 in 380 auto again nice gun but not very accurate. The body is also thin, so after 100 rounds it is a bit tired my hand. Glock 27 is a better choice for 1 st. only about the same size as p 938 so really compact. 2. it's 40 cal not 9mm, 3. its magazine holds 9+1 Vs 6+1 4. I can use a pre-loaded 15 round magazine at home so I don't waste travel time reloading. Best of all, this gun is very accurate at 7 yards. I can shoot 15 rounds in a 3 inch circle and after 100 rounds the hand does not get tired I bought a Glock G 27 Ge n 3.
Light, easy to cover. I highly recommend the extended mag for your pinky finger, as the ring finger gets tired after the fourth round of leaves. Might be less tired with the gen 4 w/+4 grip, which is my next investment.
As a retired LEO, I own several guns (mostly Glocks). This is my favorite stash of all time. The .40 caliber does the job and the pistol fires flawlessly. I got SMJ and Hallow points through it with no problems. At the range, this little gun outperforms my more expensive Kimber 1911 .45. What I mean by this is that my Kimber really has a feed clogging problem. The manual safety guard is too close to the handle, causing the thumb to accidentally brush against it, causing the safety device to accidentally engage. These problems cause failures in obtaining a rapid live-fire sequence. The Glock 27 has never jammed or failed in direct fire. I can keep shooting while other people are busy fixing their problems with other guns. I trust this gun with my life! I can't really say that about many other guns!
Crimson Trace makes shots for the G. 27 and Hornady Critical Defense projectile mine group at 2" at seven yards. Good luck bad guys!

I bought a GLOCK 27 for concealed carry. Being a small gun package with a 40 cal punch, you can definitely feel the recoil. With practice and repetition, the setback becomes manageable. I mounted a small SIG Romeo RDS on my G27 and found the target much easier after each shot. From my own experience with this gun, I recommend this setting if you have issues with recoil control (target acquisition due to recoil). For me, this gun is ideal for a close combat application (self defense situation) with only a point and shoot, but if I have a small distance between the target and the target, the red Dot is definitely useful for taking aim in a stressful situation. Besides, it's an awesome weapon. It is the customer's responsibility to comply with all federal, state and local laws.
